Photosynthesis Rate Measurement

Photosynthesis Rate Measurement

The photosynthesis rate is one of the most important indicators for the sequestration of carbon and thus the energy of plants. Correlations are established and precisely described. The aim is to expand the understanding of energy and material flows and thus to make the use of resources more efficient.

The photosynthesis rate is determined in real time using various measurement methods. In particular, gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence were measured for this purpose. On this basis, the energy required to produce plants under controlled conditions can be optimized.

The real-time data acquisition makes it possible to establish previously unknown correlations and describe them precisely.
