Partnering for the goals
Over more than a decade of practical experience, we have succeeded in establishing long-term collaborations with partners who engage with indoor farming in a genuinely professional and solution-oriented manner. This has enabled us to work with organisations whose competence distinguishes them within a rapidly expanding ecosystem of advisory offerings.
Our partners support the vfi with unique expertise in building and control systems, architecture and energy, biology and plant physiology, as well as energy production and plant-factory operations.
Only through the integration of customised architectural design, forward-looking urban planning, resource-efficient technologies and applied plant physiology can the full potential of vertical farms unfold—positioning them as meaningful elements of a sustainable and resilient food-production system.

For our basic research, experimental development and industrial research activities, we work closely with leading funding bodies that recognise the strategic importance of advancing urban and indoor food-production systems. Key supporters include the Robert Bosch Stiftung, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the Climate and Energy Fund, the European Commission and the Vienna Business Agency. Their commitment enables us to explore new scientific pathways, validate innovative methodologies and accelerate the translation of research into real-world applications.
